Webster County applied for and received approval to participate in the Kentucky Department of Education’s Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) Program for the 2015-2016 school year. The program was so successful the district made application to KDE and was granted approval to implement the program in 2016-17. The program enables students to continue to learn at home on days school is not in session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., snow, flood, etc.). The Webster County Board of Education approved five "Link2Learn"Days for use in the current school year. The Link2Learn days enable teachers to deliver content to students in a digital or hard copy format. Students have three days upon return to school to turn in all work assigned during L2L days. Webster County students will be counted in attendance on L2L Days and will not have to make up these days.
