Dixon Elementary - September Monthly Attendance Winner

Congratulations to Dixon Elementary School, our September Monthly Attendance Winner! The Monthly Attendance Winner Flag will travel throughout the district each month to celebrate our monthly attendance winners for the months of September - April.

Will the flag stay with Dixon for October or move to a different school? Stay tuned! #AttendanceMatters

This week is National School Bus Safety Week!

Safety starts with our amazing school bus drivers and school bus aides. Thank you for keeping our students safe!

Our Webster County buses travel the county's 336 sq miles twice daily, plus the additional field trips and athletic events. Last year, they logged 309,452 miles.

National School Bus Safety Week serves as a reminder to slow down, stay alert, and follow traffic laws to keep our students safe. Let’s all do our part to make sure every child arrives safely at school and home again.

Red Ribbon Week Activities

WC has been celebrating Red Ribbon Week and using the themed spirit days to raise awareness about the dangers of alcohol, tobacco, and drug use, by promoting a drug-free lifestyle through community and individual commitment.

The week kicked off on Monday with the WC YES Youth Council visiting each elementary school and sharing the meaning of the week and the importance of living a drug-free lifestyle.
