As a school district, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety in our cafeterias is of utmost importance to us. We are committed to providing nutritious meals that meet or exceed all regulatory requirements. We continuously monitor and evaluate our food services to ensure that they align with our commitment to the well-being and satisfaction of our students and staff. Because of the concerns brought to our attention from students and the community, we have worked with the local health department and confirmed that our procedures meet all state and federal health requirements. This morning, with the help of the local health department, we were able to confirm that the issue with the pizza was a result of flour in the crust that burned in the baking process.  We have made our manufacturers and distributors aware of the concerns. Any concerns regarding food quality are taken seriously and we will continue to monitor our food quality and processes.
