WCHS FCCLA students attended the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. Every one of the students earned a Silver medal in their respective STAR Events!
While in Washington, students had the opportunity to explore many of our nation's most historic landmarks during the America 250 celebration, including Arlington National Cemetery, the National Zoo, Ford's Theatre, the White House, the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, and visited the National Mall for the Great American State Fair to experience the Lincoln Memorial, the Reflecting Pool, and the Korean War Veterans Memorial. Their adventures continued at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, the National Gallery of Art, and the beautiful U.S. Botanic Garden.
They also joined more than 10,000 fellow FCCLA members in Rallying on Capitol Hill, celebrating leadership, service, and the impact of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America.
