Virtual/Remote Instruction to Continue Until January 4th

Governor Beshear signed an executive order on November 18th stating that all K-12 public and private elementary, middle and high schools shall cease in person instruction and transition to remote or virtual instruction. Although the order allows elementary students to return to in person learning earlier than Middle and High students, Webster County Schools will remain on remote/virtual instruction through January 4, 2021 to support the health and safety of all of our students and staff.

Our pre-schools will follow the same schedule. We will reopen our Alpha Academies on November 30th.

We can bring in small groups for targeted instruction and you will receive more information from the school your child attends.

We will continue to feed our kids by providing seven days’ worth of meals to each student in the home. With Thanksgiving Break coming up this week, meal pickup will be on Tuesday, November 24th from 11:00 to 1:00 at the normal locations. Friday pickups will resume to every Friday during the extended school closure except for December 25th and January 1st as those dates are designated holidays.

Thank you for your continued support during this unique time in education.
